Julian Calendar Vs Gregorian Calendar: Numerology

Today, April 14, 2023, is a Gregorian Calendar date, however, and according the Julian Calendar, today, April 14 is the first day of April.= April 1, 2023.

April Fools everyone!

While we celebrated our Easter on April 9th 2023, and according to the Gregorian Calendar, for many Orthodox across many countries, their Easter falls on April 16th, 2023.

The Origin of Orthodox Easter

In 325 AD, the Council of Nicaea decided that Easter would be observed on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the March equinox. While the Council of Nicaea set the Easter date for most churches worldwide, not all Christian churches observe Easter according to the Gregorian calendar. Many Orthodox churches still witness Easter in congruence with the Julian calendar.

Julian vs. Gregorian Calendar

The reason for the two different calendars actually came from a miscalculation of astronomy. The primary goal of creating the Gregorian calendar was to alter the time of Easter.

According to history.com, “In 1582, when Pope Gregory XIII introduced his Gregorian calendar, Europe adhered to the Julian calendar, first implemented by Julius Caesar in 46 B.C. Since the Roman emperor’s system miscalculated the length of the solar year by 11 minutes, the calendar had since fallen out of sync with the seasons. This concerned Gregory because it meant that Easter, traditionally observed on March 21, fell further away from the spring equinox with each passing year.”

Symbols and Traditions of Orthodox Easter

Although the dates may differ for Orthodox Easter, the traditions and meaning are nearly identical to those of other denominations, being a remembrance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. ~quote

However, what is well noticing, is that there are two weeks difference between the Julian Calendar and the Gregorian Calendar.

And Interestingly, April 14, 2023 and according to numerology, it is very auspicious date. First, today is 104 days since January 1. The day is 14. The day is 1. So 104= 5. 14= 5. January= 1. April= 4. So if we add, 5+5+1+4= 15= 6. Number 6 says that one is either projecting the image of our Creator or the image of the Beast (flesh). It also refers to knowledge, sacrificial love, changes, relationships, etc.

However, number 4 is related to new government; new kingdom, new laws, new calendar; creation, authority.

Number 5 is the Holy breath, feminine, grace, sovereignty, alertness, wake up!

Number 1 says, “ I AM your God, and My will Be Done.”

And interestingly, and going back to history, on the date of April 14- 15 the famous Titanic sank! Just saying- fun with history.

Enough said.

Let our intentions for all these amazing times be, health, spiritual awareness, light, sovereignty, freedom, prosperity, peace, love.

So be it! ❤️💛💜🌾🪷🌹🌞🌏
