America’s Annular Solar Eclipse and Beyond
On the 14th of October of 2023 an annular solar eclipse will cross the Americas. Annular means that the solar eclipse will be ring shape.
For what we can discern, on May 20th 2012, there it was another similar eclipse within the southwestern part of the United states.
This annular eclipse on the 14th October will be visible at sunrise in Oregon, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. As well as some part of California, Idaho, Colorado, and Arizona. Then the eclipse will continue on to Central America, passing over Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Panama. Then continuing its journey all the way to South America, where it almost covers the entire South America, and then ends shortly after at the sunset in the Atlantic Ocean.
Eclipses happens when the sun is involve with the lunar Nodes- the nodes covers the sun light.= solar eclipse. The same thing happens when there it is a lunar eclipse- the nodes covers the moon light.= lunar eclipse.
There are two nodes,= South Node, and North Node. They are as invisible planets on the south and north of the moon. In Vedic astrology these planets are call, Rahu for the North Node, and Ketu for the South Node. More about this later.
Usually after a solar eclipse, a few weeks later, a lunar eclipse would follow. This time for example, the next lunar eclipse would be on October 28th, two weeks after the solar eclipse. On the 14th of October, 2023, is not only a solar eclipse happening but there it is also a New Moon!
According to Vedic astrology, and without not getting into much detail, Ketu is the cause of this eclipse although it is still in Libra but very close to Virgo thus the impact of this eclipse would be in Virgo where the Moon, the Sun, and Mercury are at the time of the eclipse. Mars that surprisingly is in Libra with Ketu, are both in the Nakshatra Chitra that is in the sign of Virgo and that it is rule by Mars!
So Mars, Mercury, the Moon, and the Sun of course, do have a big impact on this eclipse in Virgo. Virgo, as we all know, is an earth sign!
Eclipses are known for notorious changes within personal levels but also collectively, and on earthly rounds, all depending the planetary energetics. Here with this eclipse, we can discern that Mars and Mercury primarily, are up to something BIG. Up to some kind of impact of some sort that most likely would change our lives forever.
Keep also in mind that the energy of this eclipse not necessarily would cause any disturbances the same day, but weeks after, and up to six months. However, on the day of this eclipse, and or any eclipse, recite a mantra. They say that if we recite a mantra during the eclipse, we would get a thousand times the benefit of the mantra.
Also, days before the eclipse and days after, we may feel lethargic, with headache; little appetize, and the need being alone. Just go with the flow as they say, and take long rests. Do not do any traveling during eclipses, nor do you start any new project. Keep in mind that the energy from eclipses are malefic thus we need protecting ourselves with the right tools.
Further, and changing the subject away from the eclipse, on the 14th of October, it is also the last day for us praying for our departed ancestors. This is a two weeks celebration/ observation that started two weeks prior. Today, remember your departed ancestors by saying a prayer for them, and asking them to send you blissing for you and your family always. Parents always wants the best for their children even after they depart. Family always wants the best for their family members even after they depart. You can also do something on their behalf by feeding the homeless during this time; feeding the animals on the streets, and or helping the elders, and or donate food to a soup kitchen in your community, etc.
Further, starting on the 15th of October, there it would be a nine days celebration/observation for the goddess of creation. This is a Hindu observation but it apply for all our humanity. This goddess is the feminine force. The supreme goddess do have nine principal forms/goddesses /avatars with their respective names that apply for specific function, like for example, the avatar/goddess Chandraghanta, is the destroyer of demons. In truth she does have 108 names, which is why when praying with the rosery, and or doing any chanting, it is normal and or recommendable recite our chosen mantra 108 times.
For me personally, I just love the name Goddess Parvati. Another favorite name is Divine Mother.
Parvati is the Hindu goddess of power, energy, nourishment, harmony, love, beauty, devotion, and motherhood. In her complete form, she is a physical representation of Mahadevi, also known as Adi Shakti, the primordial power behind the creation of the universe, the creator and destroyer. She is one of the central deities of the goddess-oriented sect called Shaktism, and the supreme goddess in Shaivism. Along with Lakshmi and Saraswati, she forms the Tridevi. ~quote
During these nine days, starting on the 15th of October if you wish, and or any time, or any day of the year, take time for praying and asking goddess Parvati for any miracle and or help with any pressing issues you may have inclusive concerning your children; childbirth, your health, and or economical. Be sincere, and humble when asking for assistance. Goddess Parvati delivers. Further, you can offer Goddess Parvati flowers, and or a white candle for devotion.
Mantra for chanting during the eclipse and always:
“Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha.” This mantra is directly for Lord Ganesha, a deity that grant all our wishes, and as well clean our body from old obstacles that do not let us move forward with our lives. Lord Ganesha delivers. Lord Ganesha bring you peace. Chant this mantra three times at morning and night, and or 108 times every day.
Affirmation for this eclipse and always:
I am the medicine
I am the protector
I am the way
I am the truth
I am the light
I am the life
Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha
Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha
