    And Talking About Liquor

The other day I ran into a website that it will sells you a kit of any beverage that you will like to make at home, these included fresh orange juice to fresh lemonade and to say the least fresh coffee! I was flabbergast to the transparency of their products, which were all created by the citric acid, lets say from strawberries or oranges, then mixed with sugar and all kinds of artificial colors and chemicals.  These also included beverages such as bottle water with flavors, and those small  “wine cooler bottle” that comes in many flavors and colors, the ones that read clearly that it only have a few percentage of alcohol.

I was stunt because the only thing that went through my mind at that moment was the people that are being taking for a ride by these so called company that represent the people, or should we say want to kill people for the vicious fact of making money!  Just look at the long isles in the groceries store, do you think that anything so fresh and pure will stay in those shelves for months or even years? I do not think so. The only way for anything to last be by adding all kinds of chemicals this is the fact. And talking about coloring oh well why not deceive the eyes… if it does look good probably is not good for you.

But what I also found out is that all those cheap wines that they sells in the liquor store are all made with all kinds of harmful chemicals, something similar as the Monsanto GMO. Which will not surprise me because Monsanto has its hands on anything that humanity consumes.  Can you imagine liquor like VODKA or Tequila being made from genetically engineered potatoes and whatever the name of the cactus plant they make Tequila from? I would not doubt it! And if this is not enough do not dare to eat that RED cherry on that Pina Colada or Margarita, as both the cherry and Pina colada mix are loaded with Aspartame, the leading chemical that destroys your nervous system, and your heart.

As we said before the only way to protect yourself is by making your own beverages at home from fresh fruits or just simply make smoothies (no sugar added as most sugar is made from GMO beets), or just eat the fruits! As for any liquor, snap out of it, the stuff is no good for your body at all, in fact even if it was made from the freshest products, liquor is harmful to your organs, one because it is very acidic and acidic substances keep your body cells working at a lower vibration state or lower rate, meaning your working cells strive to survive any which way but at your own peril. This means they will destroy your organs or do whatever they can to thrive. Diseases happen because your body is in Hell; Hell means in the acid state/and or vital functional energy is down. This is what the “corporations” have been doing to us humanity, selling us shit, I mean food that will make us sick so they can keep us hooked to their drugs, and tied to their entire matrix of control by keeping us in the acid mode with the foods and drinks we ingest! Moreover, hiding as well all kinds of information from us so we’ll not be smart enough to discover their agenda. We know that most of you know this already but it is never too late to keep on learning more as well as taking responsibility and vigilance for all that goes into our sacred temple; our body.

We thought we make you aware of this. But to have more fun read below what this person also found out about nothing more than your favorite BEER!

    The Shocking Ingredients In Beer

I have to confess, I’m not a beer drinker, but there’s someone in my household that loves it, so I had to figure out the truth. Is beer really healthy? Why are the ingredients not listed on the label? Which brands can we trust? Which brands are trying to slowly poison us with cheap and harmful ingredients? All of these questions were going through my head at once at lightning speed. So a year ago, I started to research what was really in beer and after questioning several beer companies, reading books about food science, and talking to experts, the information I discovered was downright shocking.

I see it all the time. Someone who eats organic, makes the right choices at the grocery store, is fit and lives an extraordinarily healthy lifestyle but then drinks beer like it is going out of style.

Caring about what you eat doesn’t necessarily translate into caring about what you drink and this is a HUGE MISTAKE.

Before we get into what exactly is in beer that you should be worried about, let’s talk about how body reacts to alcohol in general.

Alcohol is metabolized by the body differently than all other calories you consume. Alcohol is one of the only substances that you consume that can permeate your digestive system and go straight into your bloodstream. It bypasses normal digestion and is absorbed into the body intact, where it goes straight into the liver.

Your liver is your main fat-burning organ. If you are trying to lose weight or even maintain your ideal weight, drinking alcohol is one of your worst enemies. The liver is going to metabolize alcohol first vs. the fat you want to get rid of – making weight loss even harder. Additionally, one of the primary functions of the liver is to remove environmental toxins from your body – if it is overtaxed with alcohol, the normal removal of these toxins becomes extremely diminished and can result in rapid aging, loss of libido, and other diseases.

The one thing that has gotten me before and I’m sure many of you – is the health marketing claims on alcohol products making drinking them seem like a good idea and an added “benefit” to your health. The low alcohol content of beer makes it appear as an innocuous beverage and something people throw back without even thinking about it. Who hasn’t seen those studies that say a beer a day is great for you (I want to ask who ever stops at just one beer?)?

So, inherently, alcohol by itself is not a healthy person’s best friend – but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  Beer, especially American beer, is made with all sorts of ingredients beyond the basic hops, malt and yeast. There are numerous other ingredients used to clarify, stabilize, preserve, enhance the color and flavor of beer.

When you drink beer, there is almost a 100% chance that you don’t know what you are drinking (unless you quizzed the beer companies like I did). The ingredients in beer are not required by law to be listed anywhere on the label and manufacturers have no legal obligation to disclose the ingredients. For regular beer, calorie levels and percent alcohol are optional and for light beer calories are mandatory but alcohol levels are optional.

Michele Simon, a public health lawyer, author of Appetite for Profit, and president of Eat Drink Politics told me the reason that beer companies don’t disclose ingredients is simple: they don’t have to.

“Ingredient labeling on food products and non-alcoholic beverages is required by the Food and Drug Administration. But a whole other federal agency regulates beer, and not very well. The Department of Treasury – the same folks who collect your taxes – oversees alcoholic beverages. That probably explains why we know more about what’s in a can of Coke than a can of Bud. You can also thank the alcohol industry, which has lobbied for years against efforts to require ingredient labeling.”

I figured if the beer companies aren’t required to tell us the exact list of ingredients, I needed to investigate this for myself and asked them the pointed questions until I got the truth.

First of all, I was able to obtain a baseline list of “legal” additives allowed in beer from the book “Chemicals Additives in Beer” by the Center of Science and Public Interest. This list allowed me to ask specific questions about each beer I investigated. For example – beer sold here in America can contain several of the following ingredients:

    • Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) –  alcohol is already addictive with some people, but with MSG?! Holy smokes.
    • Propylene Glycol (an ingredient found in anti-freeze)
    • Calcium Disodium EDTA (made from formaldehyde, sodium cayanide, and Ethylenediamine)
    • Many different types of sulfites and anti-microbial preservatives (linked to allergies and asthma)
    • Natural Flavors (can come from anything natural including a beavers anal gland)
    • High Fructose Corn Syrup
    • GMO Sugars – Dextrose, Corn Syrup
    • Caramel Coloring (Class III or IV made from ammonia and classified as a carcinogen)
    • FD&C Blue 1 (Made from petroleum, linked to allergies, asthma and hyperactivity)
    • FD&C Red 40 (Made from petroleum, linked to allergies, asthma and hyperactivity)
    • FD&C Yellow 5 (Made from petroleum, linked to allergies, asthma and hyperactivity)
    • Insect-Based Dyes: carmine derived from cochineal insects to color their beer.
    • Animal Based Clarifiers: Findings include isinglass (dried fish bladder), gelatin (from skin, connective tissue, and bones), and casein (found in milk)
    • Foam Control: Used for head retention; (glyceryl monostearate and pepsin are both potentially derived from animals)
    • BPA (Bisphenol A is a component in many can liners and it may leach into the beer. BPA can mimic the female hormone estrogen and may affect sperm count, and other organ functions.)
    • Carrageenan (linked to inflammation in digestive system, IBS and considered a carcinogen in some circumstances)

During my investigation, I couldn’t get a single mainstream beer company to share the full list of ingredients contained in their beer. But I did get some of them to fess up to the use of these ingredients in writing so I’m going to share this information with you now.

    Carcinogenic Caramel Coloring

Newcastle, a UK brand, confessed to using what I would consider one of the most controversial food additives. Toasted barley is usually what gives beer its golden or deep brown color, however in this case, Newcastle beer is also colored artificially with caramel color. This caramel coloring is manufactured by heating ammonia and sulfites under high pressure, which creating carcinogenic compounds. If beer companies were required by law to list the ingredients, Newcastle would likely have to have a cancer warning label under California law because it is a carcinogen proven to cause liver tumors, lung tumors, and thyroid tumors in rats and mice.

    Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)

Many of the beers I questioned contained one or more possible GMO ingredients.

    • High Fructose Corn Syrup (Guinness – unable to provide an affidavit for non-GMO proof)
    • Corn syrup (Miller Light, Coors, Corona, Fosters, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Red Stripe)
    • Dextrose (Budweiser, Bud Light, Busch Light, Michelob Ultra)
    • Corn (Red Stripe, Miller Coors Brand, Anheuser-Busch Brands)

Most beers brewed commercially are made with more GMO corn than barley. Many of the companies I contacted dodged the GMO question – however Miller Coors had a very forthcoming and honest response. They stated “Corn syrup gives beer a milder and lighter-bodied flavor” and “Corn syrups may be derived from a mixture of corn (conventional and biotech.)”, admitting their use of GMOs.

Pabst Blue Ribbon responded saying their corn syrup was “special” and “made of carbohydrates and some simple sugars like dextrose and maltose.  The sugars are fermented into alcohol and CO2, and the carbohydrates, both from the corn syrup and the malt, remain in the beers as flavor, color and body components.”

Dextrose and maltose can come from a variety of substances that are sweet, but likely are derived from GMO corn because it is super cheap for a company to use corn instead of fruit or other non-GMO sources. With cheap beer – you are not just getting a cheap buzz, you are getting the worst of the worst.  Just like with cheap fast food – if you don’t invest in your beer – you will be drinking a lower quality product like Pabst Blue Ribbon that is made from GMO Corn and Corn Syrup.

In 2007, Greenpeace found unapproved and experimental GMO Rice strain in Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser, Bud Light) beer. Anheuser-Busch responded saying their US-grown long-grained rice “may have micro levels” of a genetically engineered protein called Liberty Link, but added that the protein is “substantially removed or destroyed” during the brewing of beer sold domestically. Don’t you think it’s hard to trust any beer company that gets caught using experimental food made in a laboratory? GMOs have not been tested long term on human beings and one of the main pesticides (Roundup) they spray on GMO crops are linked to inflammation, cancer and other diseases.

High Fructose Corn Syrup & Fish Bladders

Speaking of trusting companies, let’s get one thing straight, Guinness beer is no longer owned by the Irish, they are now owned by a large beer conglomerate called Diageo and manufactured in over 50 different countries. No matter how many St. Patty’s Day celebrations you’ve had with this dark stout, it’s time to stop because they use high fructose corn syrup in their beer. But, Guinness beer also contains isinglass, a gelatin-like substance produced from the swim bladder of a fish. This ingredient helps remove any “haziness,” solids, or yeast byproducts from the beer. Mmmmm… fish bladder sounds delicious, doesn’t? The sneaky thing this beer company does like many of the companies mentioned here today is create an illusion of using the best ingredients when in actuality what they tell you publicly on their websites is a complete farce. On Guinness FAQ’s – they have a question that states: “What are the key ingredients in Guinness” and the answer doesn’t reveal the whole picture – it only states “Our key ingredients – other than inspiration – are roasted, malted barley, hops, yeast and water.” What BS, right?  You have to call, email, question and know the right things to ask to even have a chance at getting the truth. This is insanity.

So What Beers Are Additive and GMO Free?

If you enjoy the occasional beer and wish to maintain your healthy lifestyle, choosing one without GMOs and additives is ideal. Unfortunately, most of the mainstream beers available have additives, but luckily, there are a few that don’t. For example, Sierra Nevada, Heineken, and Amstel Light (7/31 UPDATE: It has come to my attention that Heinken USA has changed their formula to use GMOs – I called their customer service line 1-914-681-4100 to confirm and asked for the list of ingredients – the man told me “water, yeast, malted barley and hops” – then I asked if their beer contained any genetically engineered material and he confirmed “YES,” but wouldn’t tell me what ingredients are genetically engineered. They recently changed their formula after my initial research that started in late 2012.) appear to be pretty clean (but these companies still wouldn’t disclose the full list of ingredients to me. They did say they use non-GMO grains, no artificial ingredients, stabilizers or preservatives).

German Beers are also a good bet. The Germans are very serious about the purity of their beers and enacted a purity law called “Reinheitsgebot” that requires all German beers to be only produced with a core ingredient list of water, hops, yeast, malted barley or wheat. Advocates of German beers insist that they taste cleaner and some even claim they don’t suffer from hangovers as a result.

An obvious choice to consider is also Certified Organic Beers. They are required by law to not include GMOs and other harmful additives. Organic beers also support environmental friendly practices and reduce the amount of pesticides and toxins in our air, support organic farmers – which is a huge plus. (To this day, the beer drinkers in my family haven’t found one they love so if you have suggestions, please let us know in the comments!)

Craft & Microbrews Beers – For certain local craft and micro beers, you can ask those companies for a list of ingredients and many of them will be up front with you. However, companies like Miller Coors are slowly closing in on craft beers and buying them up one by one… like they did when they created the unique popular variety called Blue Moon (the beer you drink with an orange) and Anhesuer-Busch did this with Rolling Rock and Goose Island Brewery. Make sure your favorite craft and microbrew is still independently owned and controlled before taking a sip.

In the end – if you decide to drink beer, you are definitely drinking at your own risk for more reasons than just the crazy ingredients that could be in them. The key point to remember is – if you like to drink beer and want to be healthy, drink it infrequently and quiz the beer companies for the truth. Find a beer that you can trust and stick with it.

For your reference, here are some important questions to ask your favorite beer company:

    1. What are the ingredients in your beer – all of them from start to finish?
    2. Are any of your ingredients GMO?
    3. Do you use any soy, corn, or rice processing ingredients? (Examples include: dextrose, corn syrup, etc.)
    4. Do you add any natural, artificial flavors or colors to the beer? (Examples include:  yellow #5, caramel coloring, red #40, MSG, natural flavors)
    5. Are there any additional preservatives, stabilizers and/or clarifying agents added to your beer during processing? (Examples include: propylene glycol, Calcium Disodium EDTA, anything ending in “sulfite” like sodium metabisulfite, Heptylparaben, isinglass)

If you know someone who drinks beer – share this post with them.

These ingredients are no joke. We must inform and protect each other from these industrial chemicals, untested and potentially harmful ingredients and it starts by sharing your knowledge with the ones you love.

    Bottoms up!

    About Whole Food Store

Do not get deceived by the presentation of the cooked food at WHOLE FOOD STORE. Allow us to tell you that we have been going to the Whole Food Store for twenty some years, and to our amazements is not what it used to be, and even the people that goes there to eat do not seems in healthy condition! We are somewhere in the state of Florida (am not disclosing store location), and we happen to know just about every employee there. They are the nicest people, and of course they do a great job.

We do not know if you are aware but the Whole Food Store is owned by MONSANTO! Yes you hear right, and is something that they are denying ever since they bought the store years ago. Just about every employee knows this, however they do not tell you about it, or should we say they are not allow to comment on this subject.

I remember in 2011 when I was getting myself some salad at the salad bar, when suddenly I saw within me a whole scenario of what I was about to eat. This was shocking but most fascinating was the fact that my heart was feeling with joy!

I could not eat what I thought I would eat, and my emotions were getting hold of me. This was a warning of emotional discharge telling me that something was wrong, very wrong. I listened to my heart and taking just plain greens I went and sit down until I could feel better.

I then did more research, and of course I always have my body, and my intuition to guide me. I say this because if I ever eat anything that have GMO in it my body cells go haywire! I immediately start getting nervous, have all this fear within me, and get so depress that it takes me weeks to clean myself up! I have learned to detect GMO food on anything I eat through the hard way, and I succeeded, and this is very difficult because just about everything out there have GMO but if you do your homework you can live a happy life by eating LIFE FOOD.

But going back to Whole Food Store, allow us to tell you that if I am not mistaken all their cooked food have GMO any which way. If you read the labels on their cooked food you will read, “Canola oil!” Now everyone should know about canola oil by now, but this does not stop here, as if you read “olive oil” in any thing that look good enough to eat, do not trust it as they will never ever put expensive olive oil in anything, anything! And also bear in mind that all oils out there are mix with canola and/or corn oil. Your best bet is not to use any oil at all. Boil, use steam cooking, and if you like use coconut oil that is organic, but use just a little. Now we are not saying that there not good olive oil out there, what we saying is that make sure that is organic. Other added genocidal GMO ingredients they use are Soy, Wheat and Corn even on mash potatoes!

But if this is not enough, allow us to tell you that most of the salads they serve, like beets, beans, etc, etc, are all premade! Yes I saw it with my own eyes. If you go early in the morning to the store you will see the workers taking out the salads from plastic bags! And please do not touch tofu, beets salad, corn, rise, peas, hummus (which is so good and full of sesame mix oil), and do not let me get started on the bakery, the beverages, the dairies, and the hormone fed animals meat department. And last but not least don’t ever order smoothes with pineapple in it, as the pineapples they use come directly from GMO farms in Hawaii!

Many of their employees quit their job to go and work at Wal-Mart, and the ones there do not eat their cooked food. You have to keep in mind that they do carry specialties items, which we all should be thankful for, however be vigilant, and educate yourself by doing your own research or asking questions! By now we all should have a diet where anything that fly, crawl, or is a mother, are forbidden to eat! And we should know by now to buy fresh food from the local market, and learn to make our own beverages from fresh vegetables or fruits, and baking goods from organic source at home.

If you want to keep eating poison food, you can join the ‘scientists’ who keep spewing Monsanto-funded lies. They are telling us that genetically altered crops are good for us and the environment – that they are, in fact, a necessity to feed the world population. They say all of this, even though we seemed to feed the masses just fine without chemical quackery until about 60 years ago, all while dumping millions of tons of unaltered food right into the trash bin. If however, you believe GMOs are toxic, cancer-causing substances, you have another option.

We will always need to fight for what we believe in and ignite change through thing like the March Against Monsanto and the upcoming Monsanto Video Revolt (which you should absolutely get involved in, as it’s super easy), but it’s also important to use your dollar not only to vote, but also to keep yourself healthy.

  • Emotions are Learning Opportunities

    Emotions are Learning Opportunities

    970747_382210615232835_199666924_n

Coping with negative emotions have always been a challenge for many dear souls; from the simple and common feeling of sadness to a deeper feeling of despair. Learning how to transmute those negative feelings for the most part were never taught, they were learned either by parent, care-giver or a person that works closely with the emotional side of human nature. We have also observed many dear souls try handling their emotions with prescribed medication from their physician, and some people may feed their emotions with either food or alcohol because they are trying to hide their emotions instead of trying to solve the underlying issue.

Unfortunately negative emotions come. There is no stopping them, as they are a part of your life and journey. What negative emotions are for you are warnings that somewhere a problem occurred and through the negative emotional outburst or feeling that is presented speaks to you in quiet yet noticeable volumes that you need to take a deeper look at a situation or issue that you may have been avoiding. When your needs are not fully being met in a relationship and you feel your energy is being drained from it, your emotions come to you with negative self-talk and warnings that maybe it is time to look honestly and consider the future of the current relationship. And this dear ones can be evident in platonic, romantic, work, student/teacher relationships, etc. Listen to what your emotions are trying to tell you.

Thanks to your emotions, you are provided with what you need to do in order to heal yourself. When you are experiencing negative emotions, listen to what they are saying. Negative emotions are your indicator that is time to give yourself some love and compassion, to nurture yourself from the inside out. Each precious person on this fine global community all deserve love, compassion, respect and mercy; even you. Never leave yourself out when you are feeling and thinking of love’s healing rays and energy, you are equally important.

Don’t fear your emotions, even if they are unpleasant. Through them you gather more knowledge of yourself and of those around you. Don’t feed your emotions any more than you already have and create a simple misunderstanding into something larger than a mountain. See your emotions as opportunities to learn, to grow and to become more of your true self.

When negative emotions arise, remind yourself they will pass. They are only temporary. It is up to you how long their visit is. Learn to manage your emotions so they don’t overwhelm you and exhaust your whole being. By reminding yourself they will pass allows you to step back a little from creating more negative mental feedback that often becomes a loop that keeps you stuck within the negative emotion longer than necessary.

When you are aware of your emotions turning negative, this is an opportunity to communicate with this part of your Self and ask this specific emotion, “What is it you are trying to teach me?” By acknowledging your emotion, sometimes a softening affect washes over you and the power of that emotion begins to ease. Even if the emotion still feels unpleasant it has become easier to manage.

It is quite common to seek a non-biased or non-judgmental friend or family member for support and guidance. Sometimes a good listening ear is what is needed to learn what it is the emotion has been trying to tell you. Many dear souls have a journal and during the writing an uncanny feeling of knowing arrives regarding the teaching of the emotion. How clarity is achieved is all very personal and individual but it does arrive. Remember dear ones, when you are working through your emotions with another, it is important to vent healthily. They are your support, you are not there to harm them through your words or actions, and you are there to learn and to receive healing through the process. Healthy venting is when you seek an uninvolved person of your current issue or situation who can and will listen as well as acknowledge any discomfort you may be experiencing as a result. It is important to learn not to attack the person whom you are looking for support from. They are there for you. Love them as you love yourself.

When choosing who you will turn to for support make sure they will not chastise you and have the ability of fully listening and acknowledging your feelings. Just by the simple act of listening which is so vital, you are able to have release of this emotion that has created so much negativity. You will discover important answers to the underlying issue that created the negative emotion.

We also observe quite a few dear souls throw themselves into physical activity as a way to vent angry emotions. Physical activity has always been a good way to release pent up emotions. Physical activity doesn’t have to strenuous, as long as you are moving and being active you are in motion. Just by taking a walk you will feel better and many times you will walk the emotion out and find release before you arrive back home. There are many ways for you to learn how to work through your emotions, its finding the right one for you that will make all the difference.

When you have asked your negative emotion why it is there and what is it trying to teach you, you may learn you need to make some necessary and important changes in your life. Listen well. Sometimes your emotions will tell you, your support system is not adequate; which means you don’t have someone to talk to that is supportive, comforting and trusting. This is your opportunity to create a way to make new friends. If your emotions tell you that you don’t feel very lovable, then this is also an opportunity to create newer ways to feel lovable and deserving of love because in our eyes every dear soul deserves to be loved and to feel their own love. Love cannot be truly given if you are unable to love yourself first. Changes that you wish to see in your life, must begin with you. Get in touch with your inner Self, discover and explore what it is you want to see and make plans to attain each one, one-step-at-a-time.

Once you become accustomed to listening to your negative emotions you will recognize new and wonderful opportunities become available through the time you have given yourself to reflect. Consider the time you give to listening to the message from your negative emotions as time to meditate. Shift your energy and create new space that will permit new and positive energy to enter. Many solutions have been met through meditation, as well as through prayer.

When you have reached a peaceful stance, you may find it necessary to express your emotions to the person that helped to create them. By sharing, you just may see before you a positive reaction from the other person because clearing the air of discord is healing for all that is involved and you may also discover that this person has had similar feelings. Through healthy communication, relationships are improved when you make the step to speak honestly and truthfully without the intent of blaming or accusing, simply telling.

Together you will learn the necessity to discuss the issue at hand in a calm demeanor and acknowledge that both of you have feelings and emotions instead of always blowing up. Listen to your emotions before you make the step to communicate what you are feeling. Know when you are calm enough, where you are able to think clearly and not say something you cannot retract. Remember once a word has been spoken, it cannot be erased. You are responsible for your words, actions, feelings, thoughts and will. Take your time learning what your emotions are telling you before you begin discussing them with the one that helped to create them.

As soon as you have acknowledged the negative emotion, shift yourself gently towards more positive thoughts. Explore and discover ways that are nurturing and creates waves of happiness such as gardening, drawing, cooking, and watching cartoons or a funny movie.

If your negative thoughts stem from the departure of a loved one either through death or moved away, give yourself the time to feel and to grieve. Honour the memories you have had together. Instead of thinking of unhappy moments, cherish the fond memories and allow your tears to flow. If the person has moved away, remember they have not left completely and communication is still a possibility. Discover ways that will honour your friendship and love to the one that has left through death or by moving far away. This is your journey; your emotions are yours. There is so much to discover when you take the step to nurture and love yourself during the times your emotions are speaking to you.

It is common to feel the need to feel your negative emotion, becoming one with it, to embrace it through gratitude for the knowledge you will gain as a result. Knowing it will pass and that it will eventually resolve on its own is comforting. Don’t wallow in your negative emotions, by giving them more of your personal power. Seek council from a trusted friend if your negative emotion has not left after a few days. It is never a weakness to seek help from another. It takes great strength to admit you need a little extra help. Admire your strength for the courage it provides you. You have overcome so much and you will continue to grow your character that is filled with incredible knowledge and wisdom.

As you learn to transmute your negative emotions, life will open up and become more fulfilling and less mundane. Remember you will always have instances, little bumps of emotional moments that will come your way, but you will accept them for what they are and listen to what they are telling you. Nothing is ever without a reason. Don’t repress your emotions, work through them and see them as friends not foes and see yourself blossoming into a happier and peaceful soul that we know you wish to be and can become.

Great thanks to this dear vessel today for allowing me to enter her and share with you today. Know dear ones, each day God does walk with you, He is there with you always. Even if you cannot see Him or feel Him, He is there. You are never alone on your journey, you are in the company of God and He loves each of you equally and incredibly.

    And so it is…

  • Gardening is Healthy

    Gardening is Healthy

    7440_579087908802429_1248986987_n

“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.” – Alfred Austin

Gardeners have been knowing for centuries that their pastime gives them joy and peace. Many people will say that gardening is stress therapy. There is even a group called the American Horticultural Therapy Association “committed to promoting and developing the practice of horticultural therapy as a unique and dynamic human service modality.”

As with so many things, science introduces us to the physical wonders behind what we already know on a subliminal level. There are two interesting pieces of research that give credence to the feeling that our bodies and souls are better off from gardening.

Researchers reported in the journal Neuroscience that contact with a soil bacteria called Mycobacterium vaccae triggers the release of serotonin in the brain. This type of serotonin acts on several different pathways including mood and learning. Lack of serotonin in the brains is related to depression.

So basically, the things we do as gardeners—working the soil, planting, mulching, and so forth—can really contribute to happiness. We ingest the bacteria by breathing or through broken skin. The simple act of children playing outside in the grass and dirt can be a natural way for them to reduce anxiety.

In addition to increasing happiness and reducing anxiety, serotonin has positive effects on memory and learning. Research presented at the American Society for Microbiology shows that feeding live M. vaccae bacteria to mice significantly improved their ability to navigate mazes, due to the fact that the bacteria triggers the release of brain serotonin. It appears that this bacterium plays a role in learning in mammals.

Have you noticed that you feel really happy when picking those ripe vegetables, especially that first tomato of the season? Well, it turns out that harvesting fruits and vegetables triggers the release of dopamine in the brain. It is speculated that this evolved over 200,000 years of humans harvesting food as hunter-gatherers. Dopamine is strongly correlated with reward-motivated behavior.

So there we have it, two physical reasons why people can be happier and smarter through gardening. I suspect there are several other other reasons contributing to this, including the myriad of colors in plants and animals, trees swaying in the wind, birds singing, squirrels chattering, lady beetles, and fresh air. Perhaps one day we’ll have scientific explanations for all this, but in the meantime we can take comfort in our innate feelings.

    Long Hair

    forhomepage3

This information about hair has been hidden from the public since the Viet Nam War .

Our culture leads people to believe that hair style is a matter of personal preference, that hair style is a matter of fashion and/or convenience, and that how people wear their hair is simply a cosmetic issue. Back in the Viet Nam war however, an entirely different picture emerged, one that has been carefully covered up and hidden from public view.

In the early nineties, Sally [name changed to protect privacy] was married to a licensed psychologist who worked at a VA Medical hospital. He worked with combat veterans with PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. Most of them had served in Viet Nam.

Sally said, “I remember clearly an evening when my husband came back to our apartment on Doctor’s Circle carrying a thick official looking folder in his hands. Inside were hundreds of pages of certain studies commissioned by the government. He was in shock from the contents. What he read in those documents completely changed his life. From that moment on my conservative middle of the road husband grew his hair and beard and never cut them again. What is more, the VA Medical center let him do it, and other very conservative men in the staff followed his example. As I read the documents, I learned why.

It seems that during the Viet Nam War special forces in the war department had sent undercover experts to comb American Indian Reservations looking for talented scouts, for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain. They were especially looking for men with outstanding, almost supernatural, tracking abilities. Before being approached, these carefully selected men were extensively documented as experts in tracking and survival.

With the usual enticements, the well proven smooth phrases used to enroll new recruits, some of these indian trackers were then enlisted. Once enlisted, an amazing thing happened. Whatever talents and skills they had possessed on the reservation seemed to mysteriously disappear, as recruit after recruit failed to perform as expected in the field.

Serious casualities and failures of performance led the government to contract expensive testing of these recruits, and this is what was found.

When questioned about their failure to perform as expected, the older recruits replied consistantly that when they received their required military haircuts, they could no longer ’sense’ the enemy, they could no longer access a ’sixth sense’ , their ’intuition’ no longer was reliable, they couldn’t ’read’ subtle signs as well or access subtle extrasensory information.

So the testing institute recruited more indian trackers, let them keep their long hair, and tested them in multiple areas. Then they would pair two men together who had received the same scores on all the tests. They would let one man in the pair keep his hair long, and gave the other man a military haircut. Then the two men retook the tests.

Time after time the man with long hair kept making high scores. Time after time, the man with the short hair failed the tests in which he had previously scored high scores.

    Here is a typical test:

The recruit is sleeping out in the woods. An armed ’enemy’ approaches the sleeping man. The long haired man is awakened out of his sleep by a strong sense of danger and gets away long before the enemy is close, long before any sounds from the approaching enemy are audible.

In another version of this test the long haired man senses an approach and somehow intuits that the enemy will perform a physical attack. He follows his ’sixth sense’ and stays still, pretending to be sleeping, but quickly grabs the attacker and ’kills’ him as the attacker reaches down to strangle him.

This same man, after having passed these and other tests, then received a military haircut and consistantly failed these tests, and many other tests that he had previously passed.

So, the document recommended that all Indian trackers be exempt from military haircuts. In fact, it required that trackers keep their hair long.”

The mammalian body has evolved over millions of years. Survival skills of human and animal at times seem almost supernatural. Science is constantly coming up with more discoveries about the amazing abilities of man and animal to survive. Each part of the body has highly sensitive work to perform for the survival and well being of the body as a whole. The body has a reason for every part of itself.

Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly-evolved ‘feelers’ or ‘antennae’ that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex.

Not only does hair in people, including facial hair in men, provide an information highway reaching the brain, hair also emits energy, the electromagnetic energy emitted by the brain into the outer environment. This has been seen in Kirlian photography when a person is photographed with long hair and then rephotographed after the hair is cut.

When hair is cut, receiving and sending transmissions to and from the environment are greatly hampered. This results in ‘numbing-out’.

Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds. It contributes to sexual frustration.

    Conclusion

In searching for solutions for the distress in our world, it may be time for us to consider that many of our most basic assumptions about reality are in error. It may be that a major part of the solution is looking at us in the face each morning when we see ourselves in the mirror.

The story of Sampson and Delilah in the Bible has a lot of encoded truth to tell us. When Delilah cut Sampson’s hair, the once undefeatable Sampson was defeated.

603942_490945090959293_1727407818_nWe at home need to put our foot down when come to feeding our family with the right nutritional elements. We do not need to start repeating ourselves by telling you that the food industry is poisoned, yes you hear us well. Many are the information’s that we can find in the net about this topic, so you by now should be well informed of who is Monsanto, but most important know that our country is a United States Corporation, meaning that the bad boys in Washington, the very ones that you think are representing us, are far, far from them doing that.

They only represent and care about their buddies that are spread out worldwide, and that identified themselves as Mobil, Shell, Pfizer, Monsanto, DuPont, McDonald, Starbucks, KFC, FDA, NSA, CIA, FBI, IRS, the Education System, Federal Reserve (the mafia), and Federal Government to name just a few, because we’ll need a whole encyclopedia to fill out the names alone.

Which is why this has gotten so far out of hands, and far as we know it must stop now. These bad boys worldwide are like ants competing against each other on which ever ways they can to make more money FROM THE PEOPLE, which are the consumers that deceivingly and cunningly are driven to buy their shit if you will.

We need to wake up to these understandings, to this awareness so we cannot be taking as sheep’s or slaves as they all call us. It is up to us to rise to the power that we are, to the power that BE which is US the people, so then we can bring to ashes these practices by these entities because if it goes on like it is, we’ll perish like dust in the wind.

We will not let this happen to our planet. However the more that joins us, the more power that BE for everyone and the planet. The more the energy will spread out.

    9 Health Risks to Avoid

    1013988_390967064357190_121117862_n

Are You Taking These Unnecessary Health Risks?

Many of these habits are not only completely accepted by our society and typically viewed as risk free, but are extremely common as well.

There’s a good chance you’re probably engaging in at least one of the risks on this list, but after reading the truth about it, you may decide it’s just not worth it.

    1. Holding a Cell Phone to Your Ear

As the use of cell phones and other wireless technologies have exponentially exploded over the past couple of decades, concerns about the health effects of such technology have increased as well. Today, we’re at a point of no turning back, as cell phone subscriptions are now estimated at 5 billion globally—that’s the majority of people on the planet!

A growing body of researchers have spoken out against the technology, warning that it may have serious biological side effects, not the least of which is an increased risk of brain tumors. Last year, the World Health Organization (WHO)/International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) issued a report admitting cell phones might indeed cause cancer, classifying radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Class 2B).i

The classification came in part in response to research showing wireless telephone use increases the risk for brain cancer.

An analysis from Sweden, published in Neurology & Neurophysiology,ii projected a very large increase in brain cancer incidence resulting from widespread mobile phone use beginning in approximately 15 years. The projections are based on well-established effects of this radiation on DNA. Specifically, that mobile phone use decreases the efficiency of the repair of mutated DNA and increases the rate of DNA mutations.

Earlier this year, Health Canada proposed adopting a precautionary principle approach and issued guidelines for limited cell phone use. Many other countries have already done so to some degree, including Russia, the UK, Israel, Belgium, Germany, India, Finland and France.

All the evidence points to the fact that current safety standards are completely inadequate. Our rapidly expanding wireless technologies must be properly evaluated, but on an individual level we simply cannot afford to wait. While some countries are beginning to invoke the precautionary principle, each and every individual can take it upon themselves to do the same, rather than wait for an official statement.

You can find my complete guidelines on how to limit your wireless exposure here.

    2. Choosing a Shower Curtain Made Out of PVC

You know the smell that seeps out when you take a brand new plastic or vinyl shower curtain out of its package? That’s due to the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) it’s made out of. This is a significant source of exposure to chemicals known as phthalates, which are used as plasticizers in everything from vinyl flooring to detergents, hoses, raincoats, adhesives, air fresheners, and toys—and even in some soaps, shampoos, lotions and nail polish.

Phthalates are one of the groups of “gender-bending” chemicals causing males of all species to become more female. These chemicals have disrupted the endocrine systems of wildlife, causing testicular cancer, genital deformations, low sperm counts and infertility in a number of species, including polar bears, deer, whales and otters, just to name a few. Scientists believe phthalates are responsible for a similar pattern in humans as well, and they have been linked to:

Impaired ovulatory cycles and polycystic ovary disease (PCOS) “Decreased dysgenesis syndrome”: A syndrome involving cryptorchidism (undescended testicles), hypospadias (birth defect in which opening of urethra is on the underside of the penis instead of at the end), and oligospermia (low sperm count), and testicular cancer
Interference with sexual differentiation in utero Enlarged prostate glands
    Disturbed lactation Numerous hormonal disruptions
Early or delayed puberty Breast cancer and uterine fibroids

Research conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) discovered high levels of phthalates in all 289 adult Americans tested, and the levels of some phthalates in women of childbearing age exceeded the government’s safe levels set to protect against birth defects, leading scientists to conclude phthalate exposures are “much higher and more common than previously suspected.”iii

This is why it makes sense to choose a fabric shower curtain (or install glass doors) in lieu of a vinyl one – as well as take these other precautions to reduce your phthalate exposure as much as possible. They are a bit more expensive but it would make sense to get a glass shower door installed to+ replace them. You can typically do this for under $500.

    3. Microwaving in Plastic

Plastics contain a slew of hormone-mimicking, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, like bisphenol-A (BPA), which is linked to cancer, premature puberty, heart disease and more. Even under normal conditions, such as drinking out of a plastic bottle, they can leach into your food and beverages. But heating them accelerates the process, releasing a larger amount of the dangerous chemicals into whatever you’re warming up.

Remember just because it is BPA-free doesn’t mean it isn’t loaded with other gender bending BPA-like chemicals. GreenMedInfowrote a nice recent review on this recently, revealing that many manufacturers the globe over have been switching to the equally toxic bisphenol known as Bisphenol S (BPS) in order to evade impending regulatory oversight, as well as to ride the “BPA-free” marketing gravy train by misleading the consumer into thinking their products are bisphenol free, which they are not.iv

Even BPA-free plastics leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals, so don’t let this label give you a false sense of security. Anytime you’re microwaving anything, use a glass or ceramic container (and don’t cover it in plastic wrap, either). Better yet, ditch your microwave entirely and use an oven or toaster oven when you need to reheat your food.

    4. Flea and Tick Collars

Not only are flea and tick collars toxic to your pet, but did you know that you’re also exposed to the pesticides when you play with your dog or cat?

Children are particularly at risk, and may be exposed to pesticide residues at levels up to 1,000 times higher than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s acceptable levels, posing a risk of cancer and damage to the neurological system.v The residues can remain on your pets’ fur for weeks, posing an unacceptable risk, particularly when there are many natural options available.

    5. Running Your Humidifier

What’s wrong with running a humidifier? Assuming it’s used occasionally and kept clean, not a thing. But many people are less than diligent about cleaning them out, and this paves the way for bacteria to develop. The moist, warm environment of a humidifier is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, which travel out of the unit via a “toxic mist” that you later breathe in.

Research has shown that breathing in dirty mist from humidifiers can lead to lung problems, including infection, and humidifier use is actually associated with an increased risk of developing asthma in children.vi Keep in mind, also, that too much moisture in your air increases the development of mold, which is a toxin you don’t want to be breathing in on a daily basis.

If you choose to use a humidifier, do so sparingly, making sure humidity levels do not get too high. A hygrometer, which you can find at most hardware stores, can measure the amount of moisture in your home’s air so you can adjust your humidifier use accordingly. Some humidifiers also have a hygrometer built in.

You’ll also need to make sure you clean it often, at least once every three days using hydrogen peroxide to remove any film or mineral deposits. The water in the reservoir should be changed daily, and be sure the area around it (tabletops, windows, carpeting, curtains, etc.) are kept dry.

Typically many people would actually benefit from running a dehumidifier in the summer to remove excess humidity especially in the basement where high humidity levels can cause mold to grow.

    6. Antibacterial Soap and Fluoride Toothpaste

Beyond helping keep your immune system optimized, washing your hands is your number one protection against the acquisition and spread of infectious disease. But you do not need to use antimicrobial soap to get the job done. Studies have shown that people who use antibacterial soaps and cleansers develop a cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms just as often as people who use regular soaps.vii

Part of the reason for this is because most of these symptoms are actually caused by viruses, which antibacterial soaps can’t kill.

But even for symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, which may be caused by bacteria, those who used regular soaps still had no greater risk than those who used antibacterial products. So, the rational conclusion is antibacterial soaps are completely unnecessary for the purpose of washing away bacteria.

A 2007 systematic review published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseasesviii confirmed that antibacterial soap containing triclosan did not provide any additional benefit compared with a non-antibacterial soap. Triclosan, the active ingredient in most antibacterial soap and even in some toothpastes, not only kills bacteria, it also has been shown to kill human cells ix and act as an endocrine disrupter. Contributing to the creation of hardier, more resistant bacterial strains.

Using these products also contributes to the creation of hardier, more resistant bacterial strains and, as if that wasn’t enough, when triclosan mixes with the chlorine in your tap water, chloroform is formed, which the EPA has classified as a probable human carcinogen.

So please, avoid using antibacterial soaps and other products containing these hazardous ingredients. They’re just harming you, the environment, and adding to a significant public health problem. They also cost more. Instead, just use a gentle, chemical-free soap and a natural, fluoride-free toothpaste. Local health food stores typically carry a variety of natural soaps and other toiletries that will do the trick without harsh chemicals.

    7. X-Ray Airport Scanners

The European Commission has banned X-ray body scanners that use “backscatter” radiation technology from airports, “in order to not risk jeopardizing citizens’ health and safety” – but they are still in use in the United States. Backscatter X-ray scanners expose your body to ionizing radiation, which causes cumulative DNA damage that can lead to cancer. Because the scanners’ X-ray beams are concentrated on your skin, not distributed throughout the volume of your entire body, there is concern that the dose to your skin could be dangerously high.

A letter written by five professorsx revealed that there has not actually been any verifiable scientific testing of the safety of airport scanners — and that the levels of radiation being used are likely much higher than the public has been led to believe.

These scientists believe that the high-quality images produced cannot possibly be obtained with the low levels of radiation described, and that the actual level may be 45 times higher than what the manufacturer is claiming.

Personally, as a very frequent air traveler, I ALWAYS opt-out of the x-ray scanner. Thankfully, I recently received TSA Certified Pre status so I don’t have to take off my shoes, belt or computer out of my case and can go through the old scanner, but this is only when I fly American Airlines for now, but should transfer to other airlines in the future.

However, even if the radiation dose is minute (and that’s a big IF), I’m not willing to risk my health by exposing my entire body to any avoidable dose on a regular basis. If you’re exposed to other forms of radiation through CT scans, mammograms and other medical procedures — and you’re also exposed to radiation when you travel by air — your exposure could easily reach dangerous levels, and this is why it makes sense to avoid unnecessary radiation exposures as much as possible.

I also take 8 mg of astaxanthin every day, which is believed to radically limit damage from ionizing radiation.

    8. Colon Cleansing

While the idea of cleaning out your intestines using a colonic or another method sounds on the surface like it might be a good idea, you actually need a good growth of bacteria in your gut to ease digestion and voiding of waste. If you eat a healthy diet, which includes plenty of raw and fermented vegetables, your colon should be very healthy, and will naturally self-clean.

The problem with colon cleanses is that the procedure itself can cause complications, including infection from bacteria that is introduced into the colon, or accidental punctures made during the procedure, which would require surgery to fix and can be very serious.

Instead, I highly recommend using fermented vegetables and other fermented foods, which are a rich source of beneficial bacteria, therapeutically to heal and restore health in your gut. Experts recommend eating about a quarter to half a cup (2 to 4 oz) of fermented vegetables or other cultured food, such as raw yoghurt, with one to three meals per day. I personally consume about 8 ounces nearly every day, as I believe they are one of the healthiest superfoods for your gut available.

I know many colon hydrotherapists would disagree with the position above and clearly some people benefit from this process, but I do think allowing your body to optimize the process is better than doing it artificially for most.

    9. Ready-Made Canned Infant Formula – Especially Soy Infant Formula

Many well-intentioned moms unknowingly add to their baby’s toxic load by feeding them contaminated, chemical-laden infant formulas (in plastic bottles) during their first months of life. The pre-mixed liquid formulas are typically packaged in cans that are lined with BPA, and this is actually one of the foods most likely to be contaminated with this developmental toxin.

Some of the greatest concern surrounds early-life exposure to BPA, which can lead to chromosomal errors in the developing fetus, triggering spontaneous miscarriages and genetic damage. Exposure to only 0.23 parts per billion of BPA is enough to disrupt the effect of estrogen in your baby’s developing brain.

It’s also important to avoid giving your child soy infant formula, as the high concentrations of manganese it contains can lead to brain damage in infants and altered behaviors in adolescents. Researchers have found that soybean plants lift up manganese in the soil and concentrate it, so that its use in soy-based infant formula can result in as many as 200 times the level found in natural breast milk. Experts believe that such high concentrations could pose a threat to the immature metabolic systems of babies up to 6 months of age.

The other significant issue is the estrogen in soy. A soy-fed baby receives the equivalent of five birth control pills’ worth of estrogen every day! These babies’ isoflavone levels were found to be from 13,000 to 22,000 times higher than in non-soy fed infants.

One of the best gifts you can give your child is to start out their life with a sound nutritional foundation, and the best way to do this is by breastfeeding.

While any amount of breastfeeding is better than none at all, it is clearly to your advantage, and best for your baby’s health, to breastfeed exclusively — meaning no other food or water is supplemented — for at least the first 6 months. Then, at the age of 6 or 9 months, you can begin to supplement with solid foods (while still continuing to breastfeed as well). If for some reason you’re not able to breastfeed, or you have adopted your baby, your next best option is to make a healthy infant formula using raw milk. You can find homemade formula recipes here.
